Is it possible to use SHOW META or FACET SOME_COLUMN in a query using the federated engine? I think the answer is no but I wanted to confirm before I go back to querying manticore directly. I like the idea of running it using mariadb as a table but if it’s missing features it might not be worth it for me. The federated documentation doesn’t specify whether or not this is possible.
I not sure that any form of multi-query that provides multiple result sets could work with the federated engine.
