The underscore character (“_”) is not listed among the characters needing to be escaped, but it also appears that attempts to search on strings that include words made up only of underscores ignore those words or fail. How does Manticore search treat underscores? Are terms made up of underscores indexed?
The underscore is not in the default charset_table.
That’s why it’s excluded from your search keywords and from the indexed texts too.
